does anybody no wot the colour painted on the front of the pinion shaft stands for.have been told that the colour tells you wot ratio the diff is?can anyone tell me wot colour stands for wot ratio?

3.414 - PURPLE

3.72 - GREEN

3.9 - RED

4.1 - LIGHT BLUE

4.111 - ORANGE

4.3 - BLUE / RED (LSD)

4.375 - GREEN

4.556 - YELLOW (2 spider) / SILVER (4 spider)

5.125 - GOLD

5.285 - WHITE





don't ask me about the 2 greens, maybe one is lighter.
