New Toyota Owner

Post by mytronic »

Hi All
Finally I have gone Toyota after owning and wrecking many other brands  (Mits, Jeep, Isizu)

I have purchased a 1991 ZX Land Cruiser with the 1HZ engine and an aftermarket Turbo fitted. It has a few issues ,to be expected at the milage and age aye :? But I'm keen to get it all ironed out so the old rig can service me well on our club runs and the odd safari. So know doubt I'll be active on the forum for a while hahaha

Next is the trol the forum to find how to easily imbed photo's and common issues :D

Still have the Jeep TJ for softer stuff

Probably worth doing the big end bearings as soon as you can, and don't forget to add a snorkel near the top of the list (refer Skids drowned 80 thread).

1hz dont seem to suffer from the same big end problem as 1hd-t but still its probably worth doing. Big ends for the 1hd are only $60 from bnt, id imagine 1hz would be the same or similar
