In other words he doesn't know.

No you can't use them for gen 1. But you can put gen two top arms in. You will run into wheel alignment issues with the camber being waaaaaaaaay out without spacers to space the upper arm away from the chassis mount.

You can swap out the lower arms on a gen 2 as well to give you a wider track - something like 30mm so a healthy width. It is all bolt in stuff. You will need the gen 2 CV's, stubs and everythig to match the width.

if yours is a 90' chances are you have a coil rear end? If so you can then put gen two rear end under it and get the width to match the front.

May be Murray's wording is not quite right but he does say Body Lift Kit, perhaps there is something in the kit that will also help with suspension travel. How ever I will stick my neck out and make the claim that His (Murray's) Pajeros with his mods and his driving will and do out perform all other similarly modified Pajeros.
Now I know the man, I have witnessed the Vehicles and I haven't seen them but I would say he has

THE SKILL AND BALL'S THE SIZE OF BULLETPROOF'S.

No, there is no massive increase in wheel travel with this kit.

Wacko, the body lift makes it look like it has more travel...

Yea, get the gen 2 tie rod ends as well as they are longer to match the gen 2 stubs. I believe the steering arm is the same.

Might pay to run the tape measure across your back diff and compare it to a gen 2 one just to check the width thing but I'm pretty sure they are narrower.
