80 series starter relays

Post by skid »

as the title says, its all about the starter relays this time

it seems the dreaded drowning may have come back to haunt me

had issues a couple of weeks ago where the truck wouldn't start and it turns out the starter motor is not getting power to it

what I'm asking, is for those of you who know or have the correct manual, to tell me how many relays there are for the starting set up and where they're located.

cheers

never mind

made Pedro spend an hour and a half tearing apart my engine bay, only to find a wee 4" long piece of wire off the left battery had worn through and was causing all the issues.

cheers dude, you're a legend 8)

more like the piece of wire was trying to hold the battery in position, and when it nose down in water holes tends to stress the wire a bit.............

:D :D
