Viscious Fans..are they all the same?
Is a viscious fan for a 3ltr petrol V6 the same as for a 3ltr (1KZ-TE) diesel.

No, The v6 petrol one is quite a bit shorter in profile as in distance out from water pump.

If your 1 has given up, take it to Burnside Radiators and get them to refill the viscous unit. I just had 1 done last week and it came back mint.

the reason is asked was i saw a brand new viscious on trademe & wasnt sure about them .....i brought it anyway...cant go wrong for $50

Cheaper than a new 1 and better than a 2nd hand 1!
Dunno how much, it was through work for a customers truck and I didn't get to see the invoice.
