Re: 35's on a 70
you'll need some sort of lift to minimise rubbing, 50mm body lift is usually good enough and easy to do.... amount of rubbing varies vehicle to vehicle but with a body lift its usually only hard articulation that rubs, dunno about rear wheel arch rubbing coz I've only ever had cab chassis trucks. If you've got really wide tyres they might touch the springs, my 10.5 simexes never touched, I've got 12.5 creepies now but the centres have been flipped on my rims so I've gained over 50mm offset and there isnt any rubbing?
Re: 35's on a 70
I ran 35/10.5/15 Simex trekkers on std 15x8 on my 70 with a 50mm body lift. they used to rub the inside rear guards, and a little on the front leaf srings under full artic... i turned the centers and fitted 25mm spacers that solved it nicely

i used to Cruise, now i PATROL
