was down south of new plymouth for awhile, used to pick one of the front wheels off the ground at 100kms under hard boost.think it has had beam axle front end put in now also.
Hah man i should've done a build thread on the conversion
Yeh i used a holden vectra 2.5l v6 hydraulic release bearing with a spacer ring made up behind to get the right throw. I then machined the input shaft down so it would sit inside the release bearing set up. The bell housing is an auto one out of a chaser with a 20mm spacer/ adapter plate to the gearbox to get the input shaft sitting at the right place. I put the spigot bearing in the end of the crankshaft instead of in the flywheel. The set up works very well and gives good as clutch feel.
Cheers
