I fitted manual hubs about a week ago. I noticed when swapping wheels last weekend that the passenger side hub was warm to the touch. The driver side was cool.
I checked the wheel bearings and slackened them off and readjusted them so that there was no play and the wheel still turned freely.
I used the same process on both sides to set the bearings and the both seem to be set okay.
Is there any other reason the hub could be warm? It's obviously warm, not hot but warm.
