4D56T head in ChCh

Post by HiTop »

My Pajero has a cracked head, in three places. Does anyone recommend a supplier in ChCh. Should I reuse the old cam and rockers or replace them too? Current ones have done about 160,000km. What about the head bolts. should I use new ones?

TIA

Cylinder Head Specs are VERY good.

Don't, what ever you do, get or use an aftermarket head. They are cheap for only 1 reason - they're crap.
Get a genuine head only!

Got one organised, new head, cam and rockers $1250! Ouch but the bores look so good she might do another 312,000 km..... here's hoping. You can still see the hone marks in the pots!! Thanks for the heads up on the bolts, couldn't find anything in the manual.
