Certification for 33"
Certification for 33"
Team, looking for advice about recalibrating/changing drive to speedo to run 33s on NH 3.0 Auto for certification...any ideas?
Re: Certification for 33"
As far as certification for speed on the dial you are allowed up to 10% out as far as I know so if your speedo was reading 4% low as most do and you hange to 33's your percentage difference is 6.8% so you'll still be fine, what needs certification will be the braking.
Re: Certification for 33"
Matt, thanks for that. Brake check... is this the pull 3 stops from 100k/hr in a couple of minutes, or something else..., also, any idea about neg offset rims (not the guard issue, nor the increase over standard track), I got a set of 80 series rims that work well but eng up best part of 100mm increase in track).
Re: Certification for 33"
A trick for the brakes is to deflate the tyres a little (only 5psi or so). Dont know why it works but it did for me. (maybe less rolling diameter
)

Re: Certification for 33"
