Hilux/Surf Transfer Box Input Shaft Spline

Post by suzolla »

Hi, I am thinking about putting a Commy V6 in my Surf and want to retain the auto box but don't want to fork out for the Marks adapter for the transfer case, so was thinking of separately mounting it, does anybody know of a flange or yolk that has the correct spline for the input shaft of the transfer box.
Or is there another option.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions .

Here t'is:

Over The Top make an adaptor to turn the Toyota transfer case into a divorced case so you can make a short driveshaft and run it separate.

What size tyres are you going to run? I've heard the Holden auto is a slushy pig with big tyres and a surf... nothing first hand, just what I've heard... might be worth looking into tho...

Thanks for the link Steve, similar to what I was intending to make once I sort out a flange to go on the spline.
Am going to run 35's but probably with 5.29 diffs.
Thanks for the comments.
