this is not right

Post by wildplumdx »

so i posted this in the Mitsubishi forum but didn't get a straight answer this is my L200 and to me the bump stop looks way to close its about 5mm away, if you jump up and down on the bull bar doesn't take much to bump stop out well 5mm aint gunna get you far, so there something wrong here ?

Note two bump stops one at bottom of a arm is the downward bump

Looks like it's sagged... Although don't know how torsion bars sag? You should be able to wind them up, or possibly need to get new torsion bars

Torsions do sag, look at any 4wd D21 Navara getting round, fronts always sag. Can crank them up,have done with Navaras Ive had but run the risk of cracking them.Apparently it happens. If theres not enough adjustment left to crank them up can re-index them(google it maybe) think theres some info on here about re-indexing too. Or buy new heavier duty Torsion bars there not overly expensive.
