Front Coil Springs??

Post by beachfisho »

Gidday, newbie at this so lookiing for advise, can any one tell me what springs I can use to give my '95 Cherokee XJ a 50mm lift, I see there are new ones avaliable for $310.00 odd but was wondering if I can use a pair of second hand whatevers and save me some $$ to do other stuff, like, rear shackles, and four taller shocks to keep the ride nice, any advise greatly appreciated. Cheers

You can get spacer blocks to fit in to lift front.
Rear either use blocks, long shackles or combination of both.

But lifting is not so simple really. with the right springs you will get a better ride and handling on and off road.
remember reading about the 4wd mag project jeep where they used an extre leaf in rear and some other jeep spring (Grand Cherokee maybe?) in front to get the lift required.

As already said, do it once and do it right.
