Smoke on start up

Post by rodneypohlen »

Hi,

I've just bought a 97 4wd Navara with a td27 non turbo motor and am new to the diesel scene. (has 180,000km on clock)

The ute drives well but blows a heap of white smoke on start up for a few seconds. (only when cold)

Just wondering if its a major and if anyone else has had the same problem?

Cheers,

Rodney

Could also be warn injectors and fuel pump.
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.
