or.. get on trademe. look up wheel spacers.. up to 29mm is legal.

there are a couple of people making them local..
Just a cheap and simple bolt on alternative for you

snake racing in australia makes 3" ones.. the mrs reckons an extra 6" would be the go..

27mm is the max legal width of bolt on spacers, or (depending how you read the LTSA rules) 10, or 20mm for slip-on spacers, although you have to have extended studs to use them.

I manufactured a couple of sample 6-stud sets a while back, but they cost around $300 to make a pair properly. Not just a simple ring and some bolts... I ended up swapping one set for a cool MP3 player for the MU and I run the other set I made on the MU... Never found anyone interested in paying that much for them... although I will make them to order. There are other ways to do it tho... for that money you could have all your wheels re-centred for better offset, or just buy some new whitespokes with greater offset.

All spacers require certification... so add $350 or so to your total cost.

You will not get 20mm of spacer on without extended studs - god knows what studs will fit a Zuk... ask the Zuk boys that one...

Best way to get wider feet on a Zuk? Hilux axles.

what size tyres have you got? 15x8s will take 31s and you can strech 30s without too muck trouble but much smaller and 15x7s would prob be the way to go...

I would get some 15 x 7 steel spoked rims. I think Mangel have a 0 offset one and I cant for the life remember the other brand do one 15mm more offset. Most tyre shops should be able to do them for about $80 each. This will help with some more width.
I use the mangel brand on my 410 with 31 x 9.5 x 15 handcuts, I could always do with more width but im in the process of getting bits together to put Rover running gear under my zuk so this should help immensly 8) You will be suprised how far you can push a zuk before it flops

But when it goes it happens quick

Most tyre shops will sell em cheaper than that I think... paid $75 ea for the last set I got (ROHs) - that was retail... not much margin in rims apparently

just get them to call the wheel company and say they are going to be a set for competition, that avoids the stupid questions about them sticking outside your guards. mention that you want them out the guards...

nah theres not much margin in them. they cost about $55+gst each then the tyre comp wants a bit of markup obviously.
