wheel bearing nut lock tabs

I am having trouble with the tabs breaking off the little notch that locates it on the spindle.Allowing the nuts to come loose. Both my Cruiser and now my Hilux have both done it.I am torquing up the nuts to specs. Anyone else had this happen. What to do
90 Landcruiser Vx 4.2 turbo 5 speed part time 4wd 75mm lift air lock in rear 35 Wranglers snorkel swaybar disconnects

Has it got the thicker washer with it (the one that holds the bearing in) My first ever hilux didn't have these in and it kept loosening the nuts. :shock: :shock:
Took a while to figure out why.

yes they do. can you get a heavy duty tab
