I am going to paint my Suzuki soon and want to paint the snorkel the same colour.The snorkel is stainless steel,would it need any special prep for paint?

Yeh itll need a good scotchbrite or sand up and then an etch of sum description. A 1K acid etch be the go. You can get it in cans at Super cheap or Ripco, let it dry for 15-20min then topcoat it.
