Or buy an ARB Bar. rare to find.
Mine took 6 months of searching on Trade Me.
Cost me $500, picked up from Rotorua that day
Good bar except for the "cheese grator" below winch
Nothing a grinder and a welder with some 6mm plate won't fix.
Now I have a bulldozer blade
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

I can take some pics of the arb one, in the light tomorrow, if you want. It mounts to those eyes, four bolts where bumper irons were, and two small bolts form the side where the bumper irons were. Cheers,

I have heard that they either have no clutch or it is weak. This just confirms it
I suppose you get what you pay for

As mentioned above it will be a weak brake. Pretty sure it s the Warn site ( one of the main brands) has a thing on how to pretention the brake during assembly, most likley this was not done well on your winch, try find that (I remember exactly how) it invloves rotating the centre that the ramped pads sit in inside the drum, against itself, if that makes sense.
Toy - Zuk chassis tub, hilux 4.88 axles and transfer, Nissan CA18DE motor and auto trans, sc12 supercharger, 32 10'5 simex, twin motor 8274 custom freespool. Well the parts are all there in various corners of the shed

I'll talk to my personal inter-city courier.
With a few more additions it will be an awesome bar :D
Gave my ARB bar a bit of a shunt in the weekend and pushed the corner into the bonnet and front guard cracking yet another quarter light
Or I save for a D4 blade
Cheers,
