Wristed radis arms an alterative?

Post by De-Ranged »

I noticed "Suzukisam's" comments on using wristed radis arms to gain a bit more articulation, I was planing on a slightly different approch.

I was going to fab an extra horozontal pivit bush in the chassi end of the radis arm...
Have a look at this its a sight I found a while back look at the chassi mounting end

Sorry you'll have to cut/paste my HTML is too rusty to bother

This should do the same, yes?
And provide a smoother ride at speed...
My thinking is that by putting the "wrist" pivit close to the chassi mount instead of the axle mounts the radis arm wont flex under impact

What do you guys think?

I'm also moving the axle mounts on the back axle up to just under center and on the front to the top
As well I'm moving the rear damper mounts up about 50mm on the axle to give me more drop, but thats another story

Cheers Reece
