when did the gq start? Those look different, like mq hubs?

Also- hate to say it- but dont buy hubs from 4wd bits. You can get those for nearly 100$ cheaper elsewhere.

Nice that sounds like the idea. Will give you a pm next time we go up worsley or somewhere if your keen. Would like to see your truck, me and a mate were so close to buying it as a project. I have put an lsd in the front (GQ) only did it because it was a cheap option.

Thanks for the heads up. We've obviously been paying to much for the hubs. After a bit of googling, haggling and negotiating we've got the hubs at a much better price. These are the same hubs as before, but not sold under the 'Force' brand. The outer casing (which is the bit that always breaks) is the same machined cast alloy making these stronger than the old Superwinch hubs, but not as strong as the factory hubs. We're working on stronger outer casings for these hubs (not chromoly) to make them comparable or stronger than factory hubs.

End result is they really are about $100 cheaper.

I think the locating dowels may get in the way of that. They are pretty strong as is.
