newbie advice :-)

Post by Satch »

Ok heres my deal

I own 97 r-50 terrano and love it, I use it for a variety of purposes, i do long miles in it (auckland to kaitaia) , a play in the sand and on the sand hills LOTS!! basically because i live in kaitaia alot of the year and love to go around the dunes of ahipara. I also dabble in a bit of mud on the farm but not that much.

I have upgraded to a LSD Rear end , it didnt even have one.

im looking for advice on what to do in the way of tires and a 2 inch lift kit to get a bit more front and rear clearance.

i have 16 inch rims (thankfully not those 3 spokes!!)

so basically im looking for advice and where to buy tyres and what sort, im thinking allterrain 275/70/16 hopefully for around $200 per corner?

also who does lifted springs for these trucks and anyone had any experience with going just that bit higher?

any help is much appreciated

thanks very much

kane

The big question is do you have a real ladder style chassis, because if you don't and I don't think the r50 do, then you can't really do much with them. If you don't get what you are looking for then try NPORA site in Nth America, they could help.
