Have you ever stuck your head under your Terrano and had a look at what sort of springs it has??

I think you will find the rear is coil sprung and the front is torsion sprung.

Either that or you have a very rare leaf sprung model??

If so, what sort of eliptical springs where you thinking??

You can get the following:

3/4 eliptical

1/4 eliptical

Full eliptical

What were you thinking??

I sure have had my head under the old girl n yup you r correct with the suspension system it has under it.
Im thinking of useing the likes of dare i say it cause i will have to go was out my mouth with soap toymota front n rear diffs with there orignal spring system so i can get some decent hight out of the beast because the orignal system sux big time for lifting it up.

Hi Long, when you ask about fitting Elliptical Springs, do you mean to the front to replace the torsion bar set up ??. If you look in Forums, Projects/Mods 3/4 down first page kbjj (Jeremy) has a build thread of his Navara showing what can be done. You already have coils on the rear that I am sure with a bit of tuning can be made to work better. As you will see in Jeremy's build it's not cheap but he has a very capable vehicle mind you he is a very capable Electrician that is not bad as an Engineer  , mind you he was taught by NIBBZ  ,just didn't inherit his slow build genes  . And as NIBBZ would say,

CHEEKY FAWKER,
