LN61 Gearbox removal

Post by FORGE1 »

Hey everyone,

This is hopefully just a quick question to save time as Im restricted to 1 hr a night to work on the lux. Bosses orders haha.

engis is: 2.4 non turbo diesel

Im replacing the clutch and so far have removed all bell housing bolts bar the top 2, the sway bar, the clutch cylinder, both driveshafts, undone any exhaust brackets that are in the way, and started on the cross member bolts.

My question is: is there anything else that you can think of that will need to be taken off or moved before I go any further?

and will I need to take the gear leavers off for the removal? (I did with my bighorn but not for my safari in the past)

Thanks in advance for any help

Cheers
Ray
