fan for terrano td27 needed 1996

Post by 44jetboat »

hi guys .

im usally in the mitzi area but need some help with the gfs truck

went through cooling system and found buggered thermostat replaced and run up.

then found viscous hub bearing had crapped its self also fan wax had leaked out and fan not spinning like it should.

of cause hub apart of pump so new pump $350 later. bolted all togeather tonight.

run up and heard strange noise and noticed fan was not spinning in sink. like in orbit

removed fan and run up again and shes is as smooth as and no noise.

so bent fan (would explain buggering old viscous hub)

any one got a good one?

or know of a place to get a new one?

cheers

Can you measure the opposing bolt centres as there is a couple of variations.
I have 2 mint ones here, can sell one at a nominal fee 8)
Cheers,
Simon.
