raising the back of a terrano
hey everyone just wondering if there are any std springs out of another car that will fit in the back of a terrano to lift it up a wee bit? maybe 2 inch?
Re: raising the back of a terrano
You can get springs from BNT, $220, 2" lift. If you got trade account its probably alot cheaper aswel.
Re: raising the back of a terrano
All lifted springs seem to sag about half in a short time
Given up on trying to get it higher without loosing full travel.
I was considering making some packers out of nylon as a suitable spacers the correct diameter are not available off the shelf, but decided not to after loosing access to a lathe.
I still have the material to spin them up from.
I will sell this piece of rod for a couple of bottles of wine.

145dia X 190 long.
Pm me.
Cheers,

Making some of these,

With a good lathe and some clues turn the block at speed and machine any round shape you want
They don't make the right size for terranos as they have a fairly unique diameter and height of the rear spring.

How high could you make these blocks with standard shocks? 50mm be about the max?
Re: raising the back of a terrano
Yeah, I was looking at 30-50mm only.

Re: raising the back of a terrano
Well, I would definitly give you 2bottles of wine for that if I could find the use of a lathe. I'll see if my tutor will let me borrow the one at SIT, aslong as Know one else has bought it off you by then.
