93 surf 1kzte to 1uzfe conversion

Post by mbutler »

Hi all,

I'm looking to convert my surf from an automatic 1kzte to manual 1uzfe. Has anyone done this conversion? basically just looking for any suggestions/recommendations on parts and a garage in the lower south island who often does this sort of conversion.

I will also have my engine and gearbox for sale - engine has done 320k kms reconditioned at 246k, runs fine but want a v8 :)

Cheers for your help

lol an old carby drinky coal burnering boat anchor.. go with the lex and have the luxury of fuel injection for a fraction of the cost ..it would take to convert a carby engine.. beside they just sound soo much better at full tit.. 8) and half the weight to boot..
