hankook dynapro mt 31" tyres, how good are they offroad ?

looking at getting a set of hankook dynapro mt tyres, how do these perfer offroad ?

i have a 2.7l diesel single cab 1993 navara 4x4 which i am kitting out for a bit of a offroad/daily/hunting truck

pretty much the same pattern as mudstars/buckshots. Search mudstar on here for the opinions :wink:

A mate tried them on a trials truck and they did not work well in that type of use - lots of wheel spin and not much forwards movement... Can't say how they go on a club truck - but they do seem more closed in the tread than other tyres.

maxis bighorn by far, they are crap those hankooks seen a terrano on em and it got nowhere

have a look at fedora couragia tyres as well
70 series prado (KZJ78) and 90 Series Prado (KZJ95)

I run them on my zook and they are an excellent tyre in my opinion. Good for road, sand and mud. Not for someone with a comp truck however. :wink:
