She's a 2.5 n/a diesel, which, although fairly gutless by today's standards in utes, still propels the old girl along fine. Was a Mitsubishi Truck dealer's service vehicle for god knows how long before I got it. It seems to have been really well looked after, and aside of the battle scars and a few superficial dings and shit it's in pretty good nick.
It's covered a mere 364xxx km in it's lifetime and has around 4000km of RUC left.
It has no rust, and mechanically she's all good. Doesn't burn any oil (that I can notice anyway and I've spun up around 3500km in it) doesn't use any coolant, and the only problem when cold starting is a lazy glowplug which causes it to miss a little for the first 10 seconds or so after firing it up in the morning.
Has nice solid towbar, everything works, and diff and gearbox are nice, quiet, and do all the right things. I reckon at least the diff must have been rebuilt at some stage, and tweaked, as it seems really quite tight.
I've done a little bit of towing and it handled it fine. Doesn't get hot.
Returns around 600-650km to 55ish litres of fuel which I reckon is pretty brilliant. Economy doesn't seem to change whether towing, loaded, or unloaded.
WOF goes right through until the 11th of October. Passed it's last one, only needing a set of wiper refills. Should go through many more without having to do anything/much else.
Could maybe do with a battery at some stage. I just glow it a couple of times before I start it and it gives me no issues.
Looking for $2500.
Vehicle is in Wellington but may be able to help get it to where ever you are.
