has any one got the carrier adn all the tailgate parts to convert a under car wheel carrier truck to a rear wheel carrier spec truck, my truck is marron adn grey two tone if that helps

Ive done this to mine was a bigger job than it appears .There are a number of subtle differences between the spare under & out back models.
The key is mechanism is very different ...its mounts in a different way in the tail gate...i took the internals out & swapped them over.

Reversing lights ...."spare unde"r are around the number plate ..other model is in the tail lights.

You need to make a bracket to go inside the corner to give the wheel carrier some strength....i got one out of a wrecked hilux...cut it up to make it fit then got it in.
You need to drill 2 holes to bolt there bracket to the vehicle for xtra strength...you need to take tail gate off to drill the bottom hole.
To do both of these you will have to take the rear interior out.

Have done it also, the swing arm is the trickiest part, there`s not alot of metal in the rear to bolt to, so assimilated it into the rear bumper.

well after reading that , seconda thorts are to scrap that idea abd deal with it and make rear bumper to have swing arm

Its very do able ...just takes some planning & a bit of work to do it properly
