looking at buying fj40 can anybodyplease tell me what to look for please.whats the 4.2ltr like,can you still get parts any help would be great thanks.

can be rusty, leaky, water and air, thirsty on fuel, but still manage to look good
cruiserspares on here for big bits terrain tamer for other bits

at presant have a mu done body lift shakel lift lsd in back endand now have to get it certed for warrant,so do i cert or do i go the next step and go to another truck .one that can take me a bit futher like toyota,nissan or landrover spend a little money and get that certifide ,your thoughs

Maybe you should consider a 70 series cruiser mate you get a few extras like disc brakes and power steer and 5 speed without having to modifiy and the petrol ones go well with a bit of work
Dont get me wrong the 40 series still look better
