kzj78 chassis hilux body

hey guys anyone know whats involved in fitting a hilux body preferably double cab to my kzj78 chassis love the look of these but also love my landcruiser chassis so can i get the best of both worlds any help would be much appretiated

Did you find anything on this. I want to do this aswell. I have both vehicles. A quick measure and the wheelbase is much shorter on a cruiser so I dont reackon the cab will fit between the wheels without some serious lift or the axles being moved or the chassis lengthend or whatever. I would say lengthenig the chassis would be the way to go for me as I want to keep the height down but I dont really know whats involved in this. Anyone help? It would also need to be a scratch build if doing the chassis swap which is not a major if you live near someone who can cert.......I dont. Palmy is the closest for me. Also has to meet 2010 vehicle standards which included variable windscreen wipers and something to do with the heater etc etc. Not major just annoying shit. Im tempted to just coil the front of my lux with the cruiser shit.

Id be interested to hear if anyone has done one with a double cab. Im sure someone has but Im a pleb and can find shit on anything that I want too with the search.

Only a scrathbuilt if you mix brands as in toyota/nissan but toyota/toyota is only a cert.

Have talked to several local certifiers and they all tell me its scratch build....... Think all the rules have been tightened in recent years.

nah havnt managed to find much info either think the easiest way would be to build a flat deck for it but personally i like the look or the origanal tray to not an option for me

Cab Plus Or Surf will fit on & if you use one which reg is still live it is only a cert.
