WTB: 4wd motor and box

wanted a 4wd motor and box, mine just crapped it self.
Only a mud truck so anything considered. ideally after a daihatsu 2.8 motor but pretty hard or expensive to find. Considering pulling complete motor and box out and chucking in something else and adapting it to current drive shafts. Not too sure what a motor and box is worth so just testing the waters
any ideas out there?

heard of someone on here somewhere using isuzu 2.8 as it cheaper than hilux and the 2.8 has a pretty good history for reliability . the 3.1 gets bagged abit.

my mate a a rugger with a 2.8 in it getting to rusty for a wof and the back diff just packed a sad think ifs after 1400 for it as it is good runner let me know if you keen trucks in west auckland
