any auto sparks help/input/suggestions 24v patrol.

i keep getting a white fluffy growth around my passengers side battery only, not on the terminals but on the battery tray and surrounding areas, i clean it off and within a few weeks its back, well its now on the battery clamp rod. i have cleaned everything and lubed terminals but to no avail.. any ideas or suggestions??? thanks

i have googled but just came up with problems related to living near the ocean or boat launching, both of which dont affect me.

I always thought it was caused by the venting of the acid from the battery, when I changed to fully sealed I never had the problem again, but it may have had nothing to do with it
