1KZ Engine Question

Post by Kiwifireman »

Hi gang,

I was wondering if you can put a 1kz engine into a LN130 without changing the engine mounts ?

Are they the same or would I have to do some serious changes ?

I was thinking about replacing my 2lte with a 1kz, but if its too hard or too much work will put up with it a bit longer !!!

Cheers in advance

Cheeper to buy a surf with the motor in it or do a lexus conversion, everything is bolt in.
need to cut and move mounts for 1kz and need to completely rewire truck,

Not if you get rid of electronics & use manual fuel pump. I have just done it & it was real easy. Now have heaps of grunt in my Bundera.
