Exhaust jack?

Garage talk. Anything from mounting a winch to water proofing the electrics.

Used no seen yes, they are not too stable, works best on flat hard ground, or sand where the surface area helps.

They are fine to change tires etc but not stable and cannot be trusted to hold for any period of time.

Have one but haven't used it Yet.

I't like any thing you buy for recovery. It's insurance. You have it but hope you don't need it...

I looked at one of them a while back then realised that many of the holes i end up in would mean that i would have to dig the exhaust out first. then there was the stability issue.

Saying that it would be really handy around the camp site and make a nice seat :)

They are handy on the odd occasion, I carry one, but I am usually travelling with others who have high lifts. They will lift on soft ground that a HL jack will sink in, and you can use them to push a vehicle sideways off banks etc, but If you only have one jack, make it a high lift, they are much more versatile.
