3l 2.8 Hilux motor forsale-SOLD

Brought from yukon diesel spares 1996 model with under 145k(now has around 160k) for $2500, Looking to replace the 2.8 with a 1kz .Has been well looked after
Extractors
New genuine glow plugs
New genuine rear main seal
New 5l flywheel(9.5")
New clutch
Viscous fan recon

Why ya going the 1kz way mate? Could quite possibly end up with the same head problems as the 2lte.

IMO the 1kz is a superior motor and best suited for my application

i reckon ya 2.8 with a turbo would be better than a 1kz and a shit load easier. Be a different story if the 1kz was a bold in but its a long way from that.

Iv'e had a 2.8 turbo and now got a 1kz-te and theres no comparison the 1kz-te is way better.
