North Shore Newbie

Post by Yellowscooby »

Afternoon all,

Newbie Hilux Surf owner, my name is Dave and I live in Greenhithe, on the Shore. I hope to pick up some good tips on running and enjoying my surf and hope to get out to West Auckland as often as possible over the coming summer.
I'm very much a newbie but have been reading the posts on these forums for a little while now and look forward to learning from the more experienced guys on here.

So hi from Dave, his family and Willow, the Hungarian Viszla!

Welcome Dave,
Joining your local club is a good way to go, to find out tips and where it is cool to go.
[Edit] One of the [Edit] closest club to you would be Norwest OHV 8)
Next meeting is Monday week in Kumeu at Paddy's Bar.

Cheers,
Simon Collett
President
Norwest OHV Club Inc

Thanks guys awesome welcome. I'll try and get to both meets and see where I best fit in!

Was out at Muriwai this morning and there was a 4wd club beach clean up. Was this the Northwest ORV by chance? Awesome job whoever it was.

The clean up is run organised by the Auckland council and the 4wd association, All clubs are invited to attend. They're a good day out and its amazing to see the amount of rubbish collected.
