1994 4.0L JEEP NO START HELP!!

Im trying to help my friend out by getting his jeep running for him anyway here is the problem he was at the lights the other day when it just stopped it only turns over wont even fire so he got it towed home i have checked the fuel pump and it seems to be pumping and has good pressure in the fuel rail. I have tested the cam hall sensor in the distributor tested good. its getting no spark and was wondering if they run a crank sensor?I checked the coil with my meter and im getting the same readings with others i found at pick a part on the same type of jeep. Has anyone had this sort of fault or know of a common fault for this kind of jeep. oh and its a 1994 6cly 4.0l
