Hi I haze a 1991 2.4 surf and am plaining on getting parts over the next year or two as i have mioney to do it then takin it to get done. If anyone has the time to write a list of all the things i will need to start with.

seriously mate its been done heaps around the world. its becoming a common conversion. there is plenty of write ups around - i know cos i have done mine.
are u wanting manual or auto?
perhapes a better option is to list wat u think u need and people will help rather than writing out a list.
keep in mind the price of engine (which are cheap) is only a small cost of the whole job. the more you do yourself the cheaper.

The main parts for 1uz conversion are
Motor -$1000-$2000
Mounts – $354
Bellhousing – either for a G or R series box. Both the same price $650
Clutch flywheel set– HD $1275(suitable for light towing and medium 4x4 use) or motorsport $1800 for hard to extreme use.
Fuel pump DIY kit $375 or we set it up $365
Oil filter block (no a/c only) $330
Fan sender $39
Headers performance $1025
Headers – Log style $550
Drive shaft hoops $100
Plug and play standard wiring looms $1500 (8 wire hoop up with all fuses and relays and converted to manual)
