budget surf.....

Post by skidmark »

found a 90 surf for sale on a offer i coulnt refuse.

Image

bought(stole?) for 400 reg, wof just expired.had suspect blown headgasket so old owner gave up on it and brought a new ute.

think actual issue is craked trans coooler in radiator, half way through repairing so will find out if my daignosis is right.
3l v6 with auto
now time for the stoopid questions
1. whats the best way to flush trans? and how much does it hold if anyone knows?
2. looking at fitting 33s on it too. as i understand it pretty much require 2 inch body and susp lift too make them fit?
2.5 do any factory springs out of another model fit and give a 2 inch or so lift?

want to keep it road legal but will more likely get trailered anywhere.
cheers guys
modified surf, hardly drive it seem to keep modifying it....

11+ litres apparantly, best way to flush is with a garage flush machine thingy as it gets it all out, BNT stock the replacement filters
