Flushing Transmission

Post by kooze »

Well the other month my mechanic told me my trans fluid was quite dirty , at the time i couldn't afford the flush.
Now that i have the coin i've been reading online about it and some people seem to think it can be a bad idea to flush it if its really dirty and can lead to the whole trans failing?.
So Now im wondering what the hell to do ,any advice appreciated
cheers

flush it, as if its going to shit its self it will do it anyway
if the trans is still in good condition you may be lucky
also dont forget about the trans filter majority of transmissions you will need to remove the pan to get to the filter but if its as bad as you say it will be money and time well worth spending
