hi looking at lifting my kzj78 prado.i am looking at a 50 mil lift.i cary a few pasengers around (kids and gear) i have never done this before is there any sugestions on what type of springs and shocks i should use.and also if i just replaced it with standard shocks and springs would it give it much lift.
also is there anything else i would have to do if i go for the 50 mil lift

unless the vehicle has been lowered or the existing springs are so sagged then generally you will not get any lift by fitting standard springs and shocks.
I think you would be best talking to your local ARB dealer about lift options.

I fitted "standard" Heavy Duty Chamberlin Springs and this gave me approx 50mm of added height, found the H/D in the front were to hard so got Chamberlins to wind up a new front set 50mm higher with the original wire size. Made a big improvement to the ride.
