There is a 4WD Safari THIS Saturday 3rd March on The Bluff Station.
The Bluff Station has some really unique Geology with a recent find of a 65 million year old fossil.
Based around this Geology there will be a 1 hour seminar lead by some international Geologist before heading into The Bluff Station to the Mead River.
BYO Lunch. Morning Tea and BBQ Meal provided at the end.
Starts 9am. Bookings essential.
Fund Raising for a new surface for the Tennis Court at Kekerengu Community Centre.

2012 Kaikoura Lions 4WD trip from Glenstrae to the Leader
The Kaikoura Lions Club has organised an interesting trip from Glenstrae Farm at Oaro (see www.4wheeladventures.co.nz ), along the coast through several properties and then over the hills and coming out on SH1 near the Leader River on Saturday March 3rd 2012. This is a very rare opportunity to cross some spectacular coastal scenary.
Start and Finish via the Coast

9:30-10am start. Assembly at Oaro, opposite the Ocean View Tearooms at 9:30am
No Dogs, No Guns, No open fires, No exceptions

Assemble at Ocean View for briefing and a 9:30 departure.
Trip will go through Trewin's Glenstrae, with a couple of stops for some great views, then through Prentice's place, and along the Claverley coast road through Handiside's Medina Station, then out through Wiffen's Inverness station and back to the main road at Parnassus.
A lunch stop is planned at Big Bush gully. - BYO lunch.
