ihmo with the ct26 i'd doubt you'd need the comp as the turbo is on the small side and without altering the fuel and at 10-15psi it'll be running around its peak efficentcy. Had one on my shorty and when i wound the fuel up,even with it pushing 18psi, it smoked on full boost. Changed to a td05 and without changing the fuel(from the smokey ct26 setting) the difference was night and day.
The boost comp is need then  .

And yep they do fit pretty easliy so i'm told.

ct26 small size?? , they aint a small turbo
which one did you have ???
mine isnt a diesel ct26,ie 80 series cruiser, mine is the supra/celica twin outlet/inlet etc with mods done to it,smaller compresser wheel which is steel now rather that ceramic.mine dont smoke on full boost which if i blank off wastgate i get 22boost,my exhaust is straight through 3inch and exhaust stops just behind passenger seat out to the side aint long at all

they may be a big turbo but they don't flow that much air. By size i was refering to air flow not physical size.even with compressor mods they only flow the same as a tdo4e. Still make the truck bogey tho.
I had one off a 7mgte. Even with the twin outlet ones unless you've got a really good intercooler they turn into an air heater over 18psi. my air temps were around the 150-180degc mark at 17psi. Tdo5 was 90-110 at 14psi.

Anyhow back to the topic. afaik the td27s and td42s are pretty much the same motor and pump execpt for the extra cylinder obviously so can't imagine it would be to hard to put a comp on top of the pump. Just depends on how good you are with the spanners. Best bet would to be to ring a pump place and talk to them.
