Are these suspension mods legal without cert?

Gidday team ORE,

Wondering if a auto legal guru could inform me of the road legality of the following mods to a GQ,

The body has been lifted, 2" suspension lift with 1" poly blocks(3" effective)
The front diff is fitted with a LSD and the diff ratios have been changed to 4.6 as the truck is running 33" tyres.

Looking at buying it but its not certed for the mods.

I think the body lift and tires require cert, The LSD and diff ratio change won't matter.

Not sure if you're actually describing a body lift - are there spacer blocks on the body mounts, or do you mean 1in spring spacers with 2in higher springs? If that's the case, I think it becomes a bit subjective as to how the WOF man sees it... 33in tyres shouldn't need cert because they are (just) within 5% of standard tyre size. If it's the truck I'm thinking of - it never had problems getting WOFs...

yeah assuming your talking about a body lift it needs a cert but a lot of places wouldn't notice a lift that high. Still a possible out for insurance. AS for spring spacers....No idea...I just use bigger springs.

Tyres need certs once over 5% increase in circumference than factory. According to google patrols factory size seems to be 31in so a 33 would fall under the cert size being ~7% increase in circumference. Even if they came out a bit smaller you'd be safe.

30in tyre (76.2cm) = 239cm diam
31in tyre (78.7cm) = 247cm diam
33in tyre (83.8 cm)= 263cm diam

wof man will have a winge if they stick outside the body though.

By the sounds of it at least, they mean spring spacers, and im not sure how legal those are sorry. My old GQ had 33s and 65mm spring 35mm body lift and passed wofs alrite.. like a lot of things i suppose depends how they feel on the day and how noticeable things are. Just like cutting n shortening or sleeving and lengthening panhard or other suspensions links, should be certed, but once its dirty underneath whos gunna tell ?

Its got a body lift and lift springs, no hockey puck spring spacers thankfully.

Any modification to the body mounts (body lift blocks) requires certification
