All terrain tyres

Post by RJT »

I'm looking for a cheap 31/10.5 all terrain tyre for the Terrano. Has anybody had either of these tyres? If so what are they like with regards to wear, road noise, and grip on road and in/on gravel?

Also has anybody dealt with that site before? Easy to deal with?

i would recomend you going and having a chat with your local tyre shop about getting a set from them because your likely gonna have to have them fitted (unless you can do them yourselves)
when i put the new tyres on my terrano i got 4 31x10.5x15 bridgestone dueler MT's fitted for a grand so im sure the at's would be cheaper and you also are getting a more well known brand tyre

I'ld have a shop around local, I picked some Firestone destination a/t last year in that size for $205 bal/fittedwhich would be cheaper than those two once they are fitted. Was offered some Dueler MT's for $230 bal/fitted also.

As far as the Destinations go, I've only put on 13k or so on them (probably 99% on road tbh) and they still look like new, and the shoulders are still sharp. usually have them at 38psi or so.

Yep, did this and sure enough... Ended up with a better set of tyres fitted and balanced for less than they were asking for the ones I listed.
Have already tried them out a little and they're grippy buggers, and give the Terrano a more aggressive stance so I'm happy!

Lucky I asked the question really. Cheers!
