sj410 greese
sj410 greese
hey does anyone know how to lube the front wheel joints on a sj410 i cant find any greese nipples on the bugger.
If you mean the CVs or kingpins you'll have to take off the stub axle to get grease in there properly. If you mean the ball joint you can take the plate, felt & seal off the back, clean it up & stick a little grease in there, but you really have to strip the whole thing to lube it properly.

If your worried about the ball bits looking dry don't they are always like that. You can just take the top off the locking hub (or just the cover in the case of a factory 410) once you remove the cir clip you can take the four bolts out of the back and just slip the outside of the nuckle off to have a look see. If you are going to take the king pins out you need to put the little spacer bits back in the right palce
So mark them or make a note as you pull it apart.
