Steel rims - best place in chch?

Post by JRDO »

Want to get a set of steel rims for the rugger, would be quite keen to get them in chch so I can check they fit first.

Have seen spacers need a cert but does anyone know if you can run a 25mm offset rim without needing a cert?
cheers

Yep, that's the crazy thing...a 25mm adaptor/spacer requires a cert, yet you can bolt on a 44mm offset wheels without one.....

by adding a spacer you are adding another point where the rim/wheel combination could shear off where as the rim is still mounting to the original hub face so only 1 shear point
