Re: Red Rocks currently
went round on saturday night, you have to drop down to the beach and then get back onto the track. there is a washout which has cones etc round it.
Re: Red Rocks currently
pretty easy to get around it on the beach just dont get to close to the water (like the seal tour man did) Hahah.

I took some English friends around on Saturday. One of the girls has a blog, very funny

The drop off before the gate is still there but I dont think anyone on here will have problems with it.
I was planning to go to the lighthouse but just past the Karori Stream I found myself down by the water when I should have been close to the top. I had to do a quick exit back up the beach before things got tricky.
On the way back we had some more fun, but there were other trucks about and the girls in the back thought it was great fun when we stopped (we don't say stuck)
Finally, there is a piece of the track that is washed out near the rutts, the bit where you used to go up and over and come down the axle bender, just past the fenced off part. Going out was fine but coming back we found the downward side was washed out and every truck had issues, except the Zuks of course.
There was a Mitzy van that had to be stropped by the roof so it didn't fall over. You could go over the top but not if you like your plastic bumpers, or around by the water, but you would need lots of HP and decent tires, I have neither so I stropped up behind a Safari and just eazed my way through.

Verb 1. get stuck - be unable to move further; "The car bogged down in the sand"
grind to a halt, mire, bog down
I was none of the above thank you. I was still moving forward and back. I choose to halt and pass on the expirence of being recovered, as a training tool. yeah, yeah thats what it was... training
