hi all what is the best way to get nissan safari front radius arm out

Undo the back nut first, 24mm, you will need a open ended ring spanner for it. I then undid the two bolts on the axle by using the trolley jack to jack the strong arm up to start them off as there were tight as a mother fcuker.

Getting them back on was the fun part....

What curly said but you will have to drop one end of the drag link and swing that out of the way for the radius arm to come down.

Nope but it is a lot easier without the wheels in the way. Remember that you will need to support the axle well if you take both out so it doesnt twist or run away on you.

this is how i did it
.support chassis with axle hanging remove both springs
.rejack axle so axle carries load of vehicle resting against bumps stop, support axle and chassis with two sets of stands
.like curly said undo rear retaining nut, pipe over ring spanner and much swearing will just about do it, just about being the clue hear
.undo the stablizler bar
.undo the axle bolts and prybar the arm down just a little bit
.using a jact to support the arm at diff you will need to eyeball the rear of arm and guess where "straight" is in relation to the rear mount, the arm will not budge if the arm is bound up in the rubber bush
.using a pry bar, heavy screw driver, start working the arm forward, using crc etc where you can
.with an assistant lower the jack a little and try rotating the arm a little to break the adhesion between arm and bush, try more crc with arm flexing
.unless vehicle is realy sucure dont try snatch pulling the arm incase it rocks the vehicle off support stands, that will be bad
.keep prying and twisting untill arm slides out, the rear bushes will now be toast and need replacing

I find I can get mine in or out within 10-15mins, if doing 1 at a time, with wheels on.

by the sounds of it i was doing it the hard way

I've probably just had it easy, or the bushes are worn so come off fairly easily Once all bolts are out, I've just used an old nut on the end of the arm, and tapped with a hammer, or 2-3 days beforehand spray lube on them to help free up.

Do you need both out at the same time? For me, it was easier to to with wheel on, and I could rotate the wheel while under the vehicle to move diff foward/back to allow more room to remove the arm, or line bolts up when installing.

Was thinking off using the winch on the front to pull the diff forward a bit
